Other popular sites such as Craigslist and Facebook have markets where you are able to buy or sell items. They just provide you with a place to post your ad but do not require you to sign up for Pay Pal such as sites like Ebay do. They leave it to the buyers and sellers to come up with their own meeting/payment plans. I think that this would be a great application to have because students would be able to buy/sell textbooks that would usually cost a lot more at the bookstore... also students could get creative and sell past midterms (joke) Here is a site that deals strictly with text book Screw Book Prices. CLASSIFIEDS

In addition to a FREE buy/sell marketplace, users should be able to post and offer general classified services (e.g. a student could advertise themselves as a production assistant for hire, a Theater Arts student could advertise themselves as an actor for hire, a BECA student could advertise that he/she is looking for an editor for their final project, etc.). Backpage is one example of a CLASSIFIEDS format. (Shira).
